Support for PTP (Precision Time Protocol) synchronization in open_gopro?

Thank you for your work.
My target is to synchronize GoPro frames with LiDAR and IMU streams via a GNSS/ PTP grandmaster

Has someone tried to achieve PTP time sync?
If not natively, are there recommended workflows or hooks in open_gopro to integrate PTP sync (capturing hardware triggers or embedding PTP timestamps on capture)?
