Hi @ishikota,
First of all, thank you for creating PyPokerEngine.
Even in 2026, PyPokerEngine remains one of the most referenced open-source poker AI environments and is still used in educational projects, research prototypes, and poker AI experiments.
At A5 Labs / QuintAce, we are building AI-powered poker products and have been evaluating various open-source poker frameworks. We noticed that many developers in the modern poker AI community are still familiar with PyPokerEngine.
We believe there may be opportunities to modernize parts of the ecosystem, address long-standing issues, and help keep the project useful for the next generation of poker AI developers.
If you’re interested, we’d be happy to connect.
