In constructing the website, we've gone through about $50 already. That's not sustainable. I am not an AWS expert, so I have probably built this website to do terrible things that use a ton of database storage.
What needs to happen:
- We need a review of how we're pushing things to the website and what we're doing that is the most cost- and rendering heavy. @CH-chuan, that's where your computer science PhD student expertise is going to come in. I know you're not an expert on AWS, but anything you can find out that would optimize our website while maintaining functionality would be ideal.
