Windows 10 Home: Installation presumably changes Value for Users WindowsMetrics

After installation in VSCode on Windows 10 Home (Version 22H2) the REG_DWORD Value for the AppliedDPI for Users Desktop presumably got changed. Had to manually set back the DPI in the Registry.

thanks for the report! i've reviewed the extension code and can confirm that the extension shouldn't interact with any windows registry settings or DPI configurations. the extension only creates a status bar item with icons and monitors text changes to update those icons.

could you verify if this DPI change occurs consistently when installing/uninstalling the extension specifically? it might be helpful to also test if this happens with a fresh vscode installation without the extension to determine if it's a vscode related issue rather than specific to the extension.
