Rice is a crop added by Click For Hot Chicks.
Rice is considered a tall crop, however, it uses unique growing mechanics. Rice must be planted on dirt in 1-block deep water, and will grow 2 blocks tall (including through the water) and above water in its later stages.
Mature rice crops yield 2-5 rice when broken by the player, which can then be eaten or used in cooking.
Rice, as tall crops, are immune from damage by rabbits.
Rice plants have a chance to grow wild in shallow river, swamp and forest biome water (biome dictionary type: river; swamp; forest, excluding savanna, coniferous, jungle, wet).
Rice cannot be eaten raw, and must be used in cooking.
Placing rice into a composter has a 65% chance of raising the compost level by 1.
Rice, like most other crops, can be used to breed villagers.
Rice can be used in cooking several food items.
