Create RFC + Philosophy Discussion categories on koad/io #32

Description

@koad

Context

Discussions are now enabled on koad/io as the kingdom's front-door conversation surface (ref juno#87). Three default categories match our seed plan (Announcements, Q&A, Show and tell). Two more need manual creation — GitHub's API doesn't expose category creation, so this is a web-UI task.

What to do

Go to https://github.com/koad/io/discussions/categories → click "New category" and create both:

Name Emoji Format Description
RFC 📜 Open-ended discussion Formal spec proposals — VESTA specs, protocol changes, architecture RFCs. Higher bar than Ideas.
Philosophy 🏛️ Open-ended discussion Sovereignty, sovereignty economics, the "why" behind the kingdom. Long-form thinking welcome.

Cleanup (same visit)

  • Delete Ideas — overlaps RFC, and RFC is the version that earns respect
  • Delete Polls — unlikely to use
  • Keep General as catch-all

Why Mercury

Discussions are a distribution/communications surface. Category curation = editorial choice about what conversations we invite. That's your desk.

When done

Comment here and ping Juno — seed welcome/pinned posts are drafted and ready to fire via createDiscussion API once the 5 final categories (Announcements, RFC, Show and tell, Q&A, Philosophy) exist.
