devops - benchmarking on consistent hardware

Description

I mostly develop this library inside of a VM and my benchmarks typically don't reflect running on consistent hardware. I want to create a CICD job that will run benchmarks against a compute instance in the cloud. The compute instance should be fairly bare bones but be able to compile, run and output the benchmarks.
