[Bug]: Getting unknown error on Extension startup

What happened?

I am getting unknown error on Extension start.

However, I am using latest versions of extension & VS Code.
I restarted Extensions, VS Code and my computer again and again but the error is persisting.

The error is triggered only when I open a PHP file.

Could you check if the error occurs in another, simpler PHP project like https://github.com/laravel/react-starter-kit ?

If not, then the error is related to this specific project.

In Developer Tool console, all I could find is this:

I disabled 'mehedidracula.php-namespace-resolver' and xdebug.php-debug VScode extensions, and that stop the error or Conflict.

but then how could we import PHP classes?
PHP Intelliphense still not has this feature.

I don't know if it's a temporary or permanent solution yet, but Grok told me to do this and it worked :

1. Close vscode
2. Delete this directory %APPDATA%\Code\User\globalStorage\laravel.vscode-laravel
3. Open vscode, it will say "Laravel extension is downloading binaries" and "Laravel extension downloaded binaries"

It was throwing "Error in Laravel Extension" whenever I restarted vscode, or did "reload window", and after doing this it has stopped.

Edit : This was only a temporary solution that lasted 10 minutes or so. I also tried downgrading to php 8.3.29 (I was on 8.4.15 before) still getting the error.

@N1ebieski Even if the error is project-specific, the extension should tell the relevant error. I always create project using latest Laravel installer.

@Maaz0313-png Yes, it should. But it is what it is. First, we have to reproduce this bug - that’s why I’m asking you to check it with a simple PHP project, like the starter kit.

Yes, with a new Laravel 12.53 starter kit with vue, and only the Laravel extension, I can mimic the error if I have a simple typo in a controller after a windows 10 restart leaving the controller open with error:
Keep in mind this happens with no errors.

It seems that some extensions may trigger it more often: bradlc.vscode-tailwindcss and esbenp.prettier-vscode

@Maaz0313-png, @parthiban-aspro Could you show your output for php -i | grep -i error (or php -i | findstr /i error on Windows)?

Please make sure to use the exact same PHP binary path that the extension uses.
