I originally used this project to learn, but the compilation problem of SurrealDB was very difficult. I spent a lot of energy configuring the environment, and even tried docker compilation, but the compilation could not pass. Moreover, even if the environment was ready, the rust compiler prompted that there are many problems in the project. Grammatical errors.

Please note, don’t use this project to learn, just look at the code, don’t use a manager to make the code work

I changed to using sqlx and that was much easier I would also recommend everyone else to do so but the concepts especially the rocket API are still very useful and up to date.

I have only spent a few hours trying to make it work for my app. This saved me from days of horror.
