One option is htmx .

Datastar is a htmx system that’s based on SSE so that all gui’s stay up to date . So in a way it’s also a collaboration system where many users see the changes in real time .

I experimented with this today .

The MCP can be compiled to WASM and run in a browser . The parts that call an FS or process can use wanix / tractor

The FS abstractions allow the golang to run in different execution environments and to use different FS abstractions.

For example you can use OPFS inside a browser . Or you can use GitHub fs , etc etc .

Wanix has a plan9 style process management system such that you can run WASM as processes inside a browser . Just like the MCP can control processes on any computer .

The html gui using Datastar is all nicely independent of this , because you can use it all inside a service worker ( with it being the server ) or as the server being on your laptop ( traditional way ). I have been using Datastar in both these setups as well as together .
