Server running on ESP8266 (NodeMcu). Remote socket switches (433-mhz) and ir-led-stripes are Controllable via http-request in local wifi.
Very simple Java app that creates a system tray icon. Remote switches (e.g. for light) can be easily controlled via the tray icon menu:
