I did a bit of research before posting a similar issue, only to stumble on this existing issue:

Strongly in favor. "Integrations" is already Aspire's load-bearing noun everywhere else — the aspire.dev docs, the aspire add [<integration>] CLI, the VS Code extension ("Add an integration"), the area-integrations label, release notes, and the polyglot spec's "40+ hosting integrations." aspire.config.json is the single surface where the old word still leaks. That inconsistency hurts most for the polyglot audience: a TypeScript, Python, Go, Rust, or Java dev opening the file and seeing "packages" reasonably expects npm / pip / cargo / Maven semantics — words those ecosystems already own — when in reality these entries have nothing to do with the guest language's package manager. Aligning on "integrations" sidesteps that collision and matches the vocabulary every other Aspire touchpoint already uses.
