I am kindly asking why the BT set of polygons is not included in this collection?

The script simply pulls data from Wikipedia, if the data isn't available then no polygon is generated.

ie. this page is missing from Wikipedia:
https://en.wikipedia.org/w/index.php?title=Template:Attached_KML/BT_postcode_area

which appears to have at least the Postcode Areas (2 digits), including Northern Ireland.

The file you linked only contains the Postcode Areas, so it just has a single polygon for BT which is conterminous with the shape of NI itself, I don't see much value in including it.

At the moment this repo only contains postcode districts, I could probably include these postcode areas too, just not sure how best to name the files 🤔

Thank you for your thoughts. Perhaps the simplest would be to create parallel folders, having either districts or areas?

I realized all the BT* polygons were missing when doing a spatial join between data from the UK and your geojson data in tableau and somehow lost a portion of my points, when I realized it was the Norther Ireland portion. For my usecase, having the BT Area polygon just next to the more detailed ones would have been better than nothing but I realize that it would break your automation and your structure. So don't worry about me ;-)

After all, it would be best if someone could add the proper NI polygons in wikipedia.

I believe there are policy reasons preventing the NI polygons from being sourced, there is a similar situation with the ONS Postcode Directory where the NI codes aren't included, or if IIRC come under a different license.
