It would be nice to have an option for 12-hour time as well as for the date order to be MM-DD-YYY.

The Precision Clock is designed to be compliant with ISO8601 / RFC3339 (at least in spirit).

Many people, myself included, are uncomfortable with the idea of a clock that looks like but isn't an ISO-timestamp. It's the worst of both worlds. If you want American format dates it should at least use slashes, not dashes, and 12-hour mode should have a trailing AM/PM.

However if you're willing to compile the code yourself it's easy enough to add different date formats. If you search this repo for the definition NONCOMPLIANT_DATE_MODES there is an example of adding DDMMYYYY. 12-hour mode will be more work, you'll probably want some way of displaying the AM/PM marker, you could use one of the decimal points, I personally won't be putting any time into it though.
