Option to move windows between screens using Left Half/Right Half/Top Half/Bottom Half shortcut

Hi! First off, i really like this app, and I am well aware that this is an absolute passion project and that developers' time is sparse. Also, I understand that this feature idea may be a bit niche. Trust that I feel no entitlement to it being implemented, I just think it would be cool.

I am in the process of switching from Rectangle to Loop. In Rectangle one can move windows between screens by "halfing" them and then "halfing" them again in that direction, moving them to the bordering half of the next screen.

Example:

1. Using "Left Half" on a window on the Macbook will make it use the left half of the screen.
2. Using "Left Half" one more time will move the window to the right half of the first monitor left to the Macbook.
3. Using "Left Half" once more will move it to the left half of that monitor
4. Using "Left Half" yet one more time will move it to the right half of the second monitor left to the first monitor.

"Right Half" works the same, the other way around.

I use this quite extensively to move windows around. In Loop, i cannot do it as seamlessly, as I need a separate "Next Screen/Previous Screen" shortcut to move windows between screens. This functionality would be a very useful addition (To me at least).

This would be a great addition to the app, i think.

Hey @linwalth, thanks for opening this discussion! This functionality is actually already possible in Loop, though it takes a few steps to set up. In the Keybinds tab, you will need to add a new action of type "Cycle", and configure it as so:

Within cycling keybinds, screen-switching actions behave slightly differently: selecting one will automatically advance to the next action in the cycle.

"Right Half" works the same, the other way around.

To achieve this, you can simply flip the "Left Half" and "Right Half" actions.

Yeah, this helps! It's really good!

Though it needs a bit of adaptation to smoothly move left and right the way I am used to.

I will add my configuration for posterity, so others who need this functionality can easily look it up.

For cycling a window to the left it needs to be like this:

Just tested around. It becomes even better if you add a "Maximize" after the final "Halfing".

Right:

This works great because instead of jumping further to the Left/Right there is a point in the cycle where the window maximizes instead of just jumping further, allowing me to fluidly cycle a window over all of my monitors and being able to stop the Cycle at any point where the window is best suited.
