1. make sure you had original chrome_elf.dll
   verify by checking it size. it must greater than 1024KB with Spotify AB digital signature.
   and you should remove dpapi.dll/blockthespot_settings.json in this folder too.

2. rename the original chrome_elf.dll included in the folder to chrome_elf_required.dll" 3. download file from release and save it (chome_elf.dll and blockthespot.dll) into this folder... 4. download config.ini from BTS's repo 5. you should had similar file size for chrome_elf_required.dll and (bts's) chome_elf.dll, blockthespot.dll and config.ini as show below

Not sure if false positive, but decided to not continue (still using version 1.2.79 which works fine for weeks now).

But of course, the patch is injecting things into an executable (simply said), so it's kinda logic this situation does appear.

I also use a macro-recorder for automated tasks (recording/playing mouse-gestures and keyboard-strokes), and that thing always triggers a keyboard logger warning (which is correct, strictly seen).

this is not malicious, analyze it in ida if you want, the reason it likely flags as a piece of malware on your av is because it lacks a certificate and hooks WinVerifyTrust

newer Spotify require new way of doing ads bypass, we now need 2 dll + 1 config file. the bat are made for old version.

Let's say I want to block both the ads (1) and updater (4). How do you enable both?

Comma separated? Semi column? Or just 5 (which is the sum of 1 and 4), which makes 6 for both 2 and 4, 7 for 3 and 4, etc...).
