Description

Until the social section of the website is operational, it will be easier to offload member interactivity to social media. Social media sites also provide effective recruiting platforms, as members will see our initiatives without having to visit our site directly. It will offer higher engagement for clan members and lurkers alike. We can decide to remove accounts at a later date.

Definition of done

• 3 social media platforms are created for Order of Burning Light purposes
• Usernames and passwords are stored in OBL.kdb
• Links to social media accounts are included on the OBL website

Nice-to-haves

• Efforts could be coordinated across multiple social media platforms using tools from IFTTT
• Engagement tracking
• Handling social media is not a @fiveneins responsibility

Still needing discussion: What social media platforms do we think will be the most engaging or best for recruitment purposes? I hate Facebook but I know a lot of people use it. I was thinking that having presences on Reddit, LookingForClan, and Twitter would be best. Open to suggestions.
