Correlated PEER factors

I have a voom normalized matrix of 3863 genes and 192 individuals. I ran PEER at n=50. I see PEER factors are all independent until n=35. After that pair-wise correlation of PEER factors are highly correlated. Could you please explain me in what conditions it can happen?
