Can't enable plugin, PIL not available, and now AttributeError: '_PropertyDeferred' Object has no attribute 'backend'

For what blender version is this plugin? Do I have to install it as a zip?

Not sure why PIL doesn't throw an error for me. Maybe it falls back to my installed python packages.
I've tried resolving it by adding PIL to the imports in the init for the addon. Hopefully that works.
(PIL/pillow is used to load images)

In order to install in blender, I had to extract and package the "sd_render" directory. After installing it reports version 1.3 with the problem of missing PIL component. (Blender 4.2 alpha)

If you have pip installed, could you try
pip install pillow?
That is what PIL is: https://pypi.org/project/pillow/
From my limited understanding of blender plugins, I thought it was using blenders own set of sandboxed applications, but maybe it collects them from the system as well.
