Auto upload stopped working

Steps to reproduce

1. Update Nextcloud app to version 3.35.0 (from F-Droid)
2. Take photos
3. Wait for several hours
4. Nothing gets uploaded

Expected behaviour

Photos should be uploaded to my Nextcloud server automatically.

Actual behaviour

Photos don't get uploaded.

I took a test photo, waited for a while and then searched the logcat output for relevant information. This is what I found. I hope it's useful since I'm not an expert in interpreting these logfiles.

Additional information

My custom ROM is ProjectMatrixx v11.2.5.
Auto upload worked more or less reliably until the latest update.
I also noticed that the list of previous uploads suddenly shows dates from December 1969 for all the uploaded files.
Might be the same issue as in #16333.

Same issue here on a Pixel 9a with latest Android 16.

The issue is still present in the recent update. Some folders get uploaded perfectly fine tho not the camera roll.

Updated my Android App on my Google Pixel 7 Pro via F-Droid. But bug still exists. Using Version 3.35.1.
Android 16.patchlevel 5th December.

Same problem here on Galaxy S25 Ultra, no new photos uploaded from last 2 updates.
