Tests don't test installer configuration #482
Description
in #479 we found that the tests aren't adequately covering the devtoolsLibrary.source to do the installation, which led to that bug. We should investigate to see if we can use devtoolsLibrary.source in tests, so future breaking changes can be caught in the PR.
