Features disappear when syncing project

What is the bug or the crash? What were your expectations and what actually happened?

I sync my project but the local changes (features I've added) disappear off the project on the QField app each time I sync. When looking online on the QFieldCloud I can see the list of 'changes' made to the project. I want to stop the changes from disappearing when I sync them.

Steps to reproduce the issue

1. Add feature to project
2. Go to dashboard and click on the cloud button
3. Click 'synchronize'
4. Downloading page appears while syncing
5. Return to the map and the features have disappeared.

QGIS version

QField 4.0.0 - Aare (8ab7bcb v4.0.0)

QFieldSync Version

The issue is from the QField app not QGIS desktop app

Reinstall QFieldSync

• I have a fresh install of the latest QFieldSync version on a new QGIS profile, but the problem persists.
• Problem can be reliably reproduced, doesn't happen randomly.
• Problem happens with all files and projects, not only some files or projects.
