Is there an easier way to just get some basic syslog uploads going? The instructions here refer to an Ingestion tab that I don't see.

thank you for report. we didn't support Unraid, even i didn't use it.

It looks Unraid doesn't have systemd. Then you can manually install it:

1. Download binary from Github release.
2. Set an .env file in the dir which you want to run.
3. mv openobserve to the dir which have .env
4. ./openobserve

Okay. Looks like lots of horror stories of pain using systemd with Slackware based distro so I guess I will try and figure out rsyslog functionality instead.

I don't see the Ingestion tab when I log in to enable that route. Guess something else to figure out...

I had no problem running it on Unraid. Just make a simple go (/boot/config/go) script addition. Download the binary, move it to place, make the yaml and start it. I dropped journald stream, only **logs from /var/log
