Thanks for the suggestion, but I'm afraid that's a bit hard to do right now. We usually prefer using a simple name that gets straight to the point. Since this project's aim has changed a lot across two years of development. From A big reason is that we want users switching from Windows to Linux to easily find our tool. If they search for something like "Universal x86 Tuning Utility for Linux," we want to be the first result. Secondly, most of the core logic of this project comes directly from the original UXTU. Our main work has been researching and refactoring the code to make it possible on Linux. By keeping the name, we want to give credit to the OG UXTU, and hopefully, someday we'll get recognized by them and others who want to share this tool. That being said, we'd still love it if someone could come up with a new name that actually fits! |

This project has come a long way and continues to grow, and I think it deserves its own original name.
Whenever this utility is praised, people tend to just call it "UXTU for Linux." This completely hides the efforts of the developers by making it sound like they just ported an existing app to Linux. A unique name would give the project the credit it deserves and establish it as its own independent, high-quality tool.
