Re-implement web-based file upload

Having had a working demo of the Uploadify showing the interest and potential of a quick (and slightly dirty) means of uploading large files via a web form, but then having it blocked by issues with swfupload not using the browser session data, thus being blocked by mod_webauth (and not wanting to cut holes in the coverage just to allow large data files to be posted to the server)....
