Output Midi files

Could you convert from the internal representation (which sounds a LOT like midi) to actual midi files? maybe with something like https://github.com/jerous86/nim_midi

Haven't tried it yet but that library looks promising. I would probably need to make the Event type public so you can read the values out of it and put them into nim_midi's format. I wish this was built into tiny sound font but it doesn't seem to be; they have a separate midi reader but not a writer.
