Counter, unit of measurement in liter or m3

It seams impossible to change the unit of the counter, wich in my case, connected in the RT2 device on the water counter.
Unit should be liter or m3

It's strange because with this config when I go in the sensor rt2 compteur eau price
It's shown
rt2 compteur eau Price Il y a 8 minutes 56,06 L
So here the value is in liters and not in Euros...

in the same behaviour :

• icon parameter change the icon of price and not index
• device-class isn't reported to HA
• unit_of_measureament has to change only the value of index and not the price
• Price had to be change to euros or anyting else monetary system compatible with HA
• Post and subpost get another info called instant. The icon, the device-class and the unit should be changed

I'm sorry for this very long delay to start solving this issue, I was particularly busy this year...

I have just deployed a pre-release (2.2.8) with a first overhaul of the management of units and icons.
Everything is explained in the documentation, it is now possible to define the unit and the icon of each sensor (index, instant, price, etc.)
Feel free to experiment if you wish/can.

Hi and thanks for you help in developing this integration with RT2 !

I tried your last realease 2.2.8, it's now possible to add water counter with the proper unit in Liters.
However the entity misses a state_class attribute which makes it impossible to use in the Energy panel.
I suggest to add a proper support for SensorDeviceClass.WATER like you did for energy etc.

I have Galon for the counter type, here Compteur eau. Post and sub-post are in liters.

Hi It's OK for toroid, post and subpost but seams not OK for counter.
index_unit_of_measurement is not take into account.
I have to change it always in the customize.yaml...

I have just made available a new version which, I hope, will solve the various problems about icon, unit, device_class, etc. . It is in pre-release (v2.2.10), remember to make a backup of your HA before testing 😉
But I forgot the "friendly_name", sorry... 😕

If you see any problem, do not hesitate to tell me obviously.

Thanks for this update.
I don't know is this is normal or not...
I'm on a LiNKY historique teleinfo mode and TEMPO EDF subscription.

For example on ADC0 sticky which is the fix number of LINKY device I have several devices as capture
In the capture the two first haven't any entity in it...
It's the same for all teleinfo LINKY sticky

I think it should be better to have, one device named for example TELEINFO and with in several entities showing each one sticky of LINKY teleinfo (ADC0, HCHC, HCHP,...)

Indeed, an idea might be that I add an element not necessarily configurable but which creates a device with all the information returned on this "télé-information" page.
