Needs testing in IE8

I had very odd behavior with the pop out "side regions" in Internet Explorer 8. I had put one block in the left region (Navigation menu) and another block in the right region (Primary Links). When clicking the left region popout it appeared to expand the width (scrollbar visible on bottom of browser area), etc.

Not on Windows at the moment otherwise I'd post a screenshot.

There's currently been no IE testing - CiviCRM as historically not had a lot of IE testing so it hasn't been a priority - but if you come up with a fix I'll be happy to commit it :)

It will have to go on my "when I have time list" I'm afraid.

Still, a bit surprised. I can understand not worrying about IE6, but I would think a lot of your clients (or potential clients) would probably be using IE8.

I try to use firefox whenever I can so hardly urgent for me personally.

Thanks for the great theme. Definitely an upgrade for my civi experience.

Yea, it's unfortunate - most of our clients have been on civi for a while, and ended up having to use standards-based browsers for the 2.x versions of civi anyways, so we've ended up not having to do too much testing. It may be a nice project for an intern though - so i'll see what it'll take to get the basics fixed :)
