Contributor License Agreement (CLA v1.0)
Thank you for your interest in contributing to this project.
By submitting any Contribution to this project, you ("Contributor") agree to the following terms:
1. Definitions
"Contribution" means any source code, object code, documentation, or other material submitted to the project, including pull requests, patches, or suggestions.
"Project" means the original repository and any official distributions controlled by the author.
2. Grant of Rights (Assignment)
You hereby irrevocably assign to the Project owner all right, title, and interest worldwide in and to your Contributions, including all intellectual property rights.
This includes, without limitation:
- Copyright
- Patent rights
- Any other proprietary rights
3. Waiver of Moral Rights
To the extent permitted by law, you waive any moral rights or similar rights in your Contributions.
4. Contributor Representations
You represent and warrant that:
- You are legally entitled to grant the above assignment
- Your Contributions are original or you have sufficient rights to submit them
- Your Contributions do not infringe on any third-party rights
If you are contributing on behalf of an employer or entity, you represent that:
- You have authority to bind that entity to this agreement
- The entity agrees to the terms of this CLA
5. License Back to Contributor
The Project owner grants you a non-exclusive, revocable, non-transferable license to use your Contributions solely under the terms of the Project's main license.
6. No Obligation
The Project owner is not obligated to accept, use, or distribute any Contribution.
7. Termination
If you violate the Project license, your rights under this CLA may be revoked.
8. Governing Law
This agreement shall be governed by the same jurisdiction as the Project license.
