WPML integration displaying too few terms

Since LIMIT is performed in SQL, there is the a possibility of returning too few terms after filtering out those that haven't been translated.

Slice the resulting array after translation processing to get the correct result.

In the current version (2.7.2) that bug is present again. I personally fixed it by commenting out line 308 in src/Database/QueryBuilder.php:

/* $this->query[]      = 'LIMIT %d'; */

Are there any sideeffects that might bring me headaches?

Well you're completely disabling the configuration setting for maximum number of terms in the cloud, but if you don't have that many there shouldn't be any problem

There is not only the problem that some terms are not shown but also that the emphasis doesn't fit. For example the main language is English and the secondary language is German. There are only a few articles in German but lots of in English. On the English site, everything works correct. On the German site the tags which relatively appeared the most are only small because they appear not so often in relation to the most used English terms.

It's because the max and min-size is generated before it is decided if the term is part of the tagcloud.

So your most popular tag in any language forces the size of all other tags in all languages.

See file Data.php and look for

                        $max_count = $item->count;
                    }

This is executed before the decission is made whether the tag is really added to the cloud or not.
