That error means that the connection between the cartridge and the OSCR is not properly working. Make sure that you insert the cartridges perfectly centered into the cart slot. If that does not help then you need to use a multimeter and check every connection from the N64 cart slot to the Arduino. You can use the schematics as a guide. Start at pin 1 and 2 in the bottom left corner of the N64 slot and check if they are connected to GND on the Arduino, then pin 3 needs to be connected to A15 on the Arduino and so on. |

I've got a second hand sanni cart reader v5.
Everything is fine with gameboy cartridges but i can not seen to make it work with nintendo 64 ones.
I always get GAMEPAK ERROR when trying to read and get no info on the cartridge. (cartridge unknown)
I've tried with 3 different working cartridges.
