Generation of surface forcing files from downloaded files?

Hi,

I was wondering if there was an easy way to generate surface forcing files (sflux*nc) from already downloaded .nc files (e.g. GFS, ERA5), instead of having to download/erase them?

There are sample scripts in

/src/Utility/Sflux_nc

e.g. NARR, CFSR.
