I'd like to add some functionality allowing you to set a custom CRC algorithm for a certain port/device used.

Hello.

I've never worked with devices that use a non-standard CRC for Modbus protocol. This could be interesting.

All work related to Modbus transport is carried out as part of the ModbusLib subproject.
