Hello!

For anyone coming here wondering whether redshift is still maintained:

• there has been no updates for years, the answer seems to be "clearly no"
• Cameron Nemo forked redshift as "gammastep" at https://gitlab.com/chinstrap/gammastep 👈, has added support for Wayland since then and it is making its way into distros by now 🎉

If @jonls could add a big banner pointing to gammastep at the top of the readme, that would be great.

@keithbowes just to share the data, it's 10 months in gammastep versus 6 years in redhift when it comes to Git commits to the main branch.

Obviously but my point is that it can't really be a successor if it's been abandoned. I'd really like to file a bug report in the distro I use to obsolete redshift in favor of gammastep but I can't when there's no sign of life in it either. Maybe if my (or anyone's) MRs are reviewed, I'll consider it not abandoned, but that doesn't seem to be happening.
