[bug] Large tome repos cause tavern to throw memory errors

Describe the bug
When importing the grimoire we intermittently get 502 errors.

To Reproduce
Steps to reproduce the behavior:

1. Import grimoire
2. sync it a couple times

Expected behavior
No errors
