[Feature] Is there any interfaces planned to expose as programming API?

I am looking for something like this can run sql on top of dynamo. From the docs I only see the CLI but what I wanna is to integrate this with my python code. Is there any interface I can directly and safely reuse?

Sort of. The query engine is exposed for API usage:

import dql

engine = dql.Engine()
engine.connect('us-east-1')
engine.execute("SCAN count(*) FROM my-table")

This is safe in that this API is intentionally exposed for reuse. It's NOT safe in that there is no equivalent to prepared statements. If you're planning to use this as an easy query language to glue some data operations together for your internal tools, this might be for you. If you're planning to use it to interface with production code, I would recommend tools that are built for that purpose
