GitHub Desktop

Does anybody use the GitHub Desktop app?

If so, what for? Does it replace other tools or provide new/better functionality?

I have it loaded on my system but can't seem to find a good reason to actually use it.

I use GitHub Desktop all the time, but I also have projects that I work on outside of JetBrains tools.
I find it a little nicer to flip through history but it fundamentally doesn't do anything that other tools can do.
If you're dumping a bunch of image files into a folder, for instance, can be nicer to do in the Windows Explorer and then quickly commit via the Desktop.

Just another arrangement of the same information you can get out the Git tab.
