Mappings do not work when :terminal is used #17

Hi, the default mappings (<Esc>, <C-v>) do not work if a terminal is opened with :terminal, only when :Term etc. are used. Is this the intended behaviour? Can these mapping be enabled for :terminal?
I am using neovim v0.3.3 on Arch Linux.
