Environment
macOS
Warp: v0.2026.04.08.08.36.stable_05
Claude Code CLI: 2.1.107 (Claude Code)
Summary
When running claude /login inside Warp, I cannot paste text (e.g. the authentication code) into the interactive login panel. Cmd+V works in the normal terminal prompt, but does nothing in the claude /login TUI. The context menu’s Paste option also does nothing.
Steps to reproduce
Open Warp on macOS.
Run claude /login.
In the interactive login panel, click into the input field where you’re supposed to paste a code or token.
Try to paste text using:
Cmd+V
Right‑click → Paste
Observe that no text is inserted into the field.
Run claude /login in macOS Terminal or iTerm2 and repeat the steps; paste works there as expected.
Expected behavior
Cmd+V and right‑click → Paste should insert clipboard text into the claude /login interactive panel in Warp, just like they do:
In Warp’s normal terminal prompt.
In other terminals (Terminal.app, iTerm2) running claude /login.
Actual behavior
Cmd+V and right‑click → Paste have no effect in the claude /login panel.
Pasting works normally in the regular Warp terminal input in the same session.
This makes it very hard or impossible to complete login flows that require pasting long tokens.
Notes
This looks specific to the Claude Code TUI running inside Warp; other text inputs in Warp accept paste correctly.
