Alternative to pod?

As this project is dead, do we have any alternative?

@shahidcodes This project was great for getting setup quick and easy and I really appreciate the work @yyx990803 put in to making this project a reality. However as times have changed and things have progressed, as they do in this realm, I think the industry is moving toward using a Docker based Continuous Deployment Pipeline.
( There are various options for setting up pipelines; DevOps Pipelines, Bitbucket Pipelines, CircleCI, Jenkins, Travis CI, etc. )

There are various ways to setup this kind of infrastructure, but you will need the CD pipeline to implement the following steps (assuming a node project):

1. Clone repo ( and submodules if you have them )
2. Download dependencies ( npm install )
3. Build / Compile code ( Run webpack commands, compile typescript, etc. )
4. Run tests ( Jest / Mocha / etc. )
5. Build a Docker Image ( Use a Node Alpine Docker image as a base to keep it small. )
6. Push Docker Image to an image registry service ( DockerHub, AWS ECR, etc. )
7. Restart your Docker stack ( Simplest with docker-compose. You will probably want to create a script on your server and either SSH in and call the script from the CD Pipeline or setup the script as a crontab job to run on reboot and then run a reboot command on the server. )

Still I think it's a great way to quick server setup with ability to deploy quickly without setting up CI/CD. For quick prototype you'd not go and setup full fledged CI/CD pipeline.
