AlbionOnline - Cursor Size

A lightweight Windows tray app that increases cursor size while playing Albion Online.

AO_Cursor_Size

While Albion Online is your active window, AO Cursor Size increases your cursor size. When you tab out/switch to another window, your original cursor size is restored automatically.

Installation & Usage

Download the latest release, unzip the .zip file then double click the AO-CursorSize.exe file to run. AO Cursor Size should then be running and visible in your Windows tray.

Right click the tray icon to choose your preferred in-game cursor size from the tray menu, and optionally set AO Cursor Size to launch on startup. (all selections save and persist between close/open/restart)

Personalize your tray icon, by left clicking it you can change its appearance to any of the Albion Online cursor textures. (Default, Gold, Crystal)

Why

I made this because Albion Online does not provide an in-game cursor size option, and does not scale cursor size with screen resolution resulting in the cursor being disproportionately small on 1440p, 4K, or high-DPI displays.

My close friend suffers from some visual impairment and was a major reason I made this. I hope other players with visual accessibility needs find it helpful too.

Is this allowed

AO Cursor Size is intended to stay within Albion Online’s published guidance for third-party tools. It only changes the Windows cursor size while Albion Online is the active window, then restores your normal cursor size when you tab out.

It does not:

  • read or intercept Albion Online data
  • modify the Albion Online client, files, memory, UI, or network traffic
  • display extra in-game information or overlays
  • automate gameplay, clicks, inputs
