At the end of high school, I couldn't see myself working in any particular field. I was studying for college entrance exams without knowing which course to choose. During this period, my father encouraged me to try programming. I remember the first time I successfully ran a piece of C code: it seemed simple, but for me, it was a milestone. I realized it wasn't just about writing lines of code, but about logic, creation, and improvement. That's when I knew I wanted to pursue a career in technology.
This led me to enroll in Computer Science. Six months into the course, at 19, I became a Young Apprentice at Vivo - my first job, assisting customers at the store. I had goals for app downloads, and initially, I didn't have a clear strategy. Then I started observing patterns among customers who agreed to download the app and those who resisted. Gradually, I adapted my approach and began meeting my targets. That's when I realized that applying metrics and analysis was my technological side working beyond the computer.
After this experience, I became certain: I wanted to use this logic and analytical mindset within technology. Since leaving Vivo, I've been deepening my knowledge in the field. In 2026, I became a student at Asimov Academy, and this transformed my journey completely. I developed projects like HenriPDF, an AI-powered PDF manipulator and summarizer, and the AI Chatbot, a chatbot equipped with an Agno agent for conversations. The platform offers highly practical courses focused on creating projects that solve real problems using Python, Django, databases, and artificial intelligence.
It's incredibly rewarding to see such rapid evolution in my capabilities and to know I'm getting ahead of the competition, who often think that "a diploma is what makes the difference."
