My name is Massimiliano Moraca aka MaxDragonheart. Why MaxDragonheart? When I was young I really liked Dragonheart, so many years later, when social networks were born, I tried to use Dragonheart as my name, but it was already taken. MaxDragonheart was free, simple. 😄

I'm an Environmental Engineer specialized in GIS, with a strong focus on Python for geospatial data analysis, automation, and workflow development. My work sits at the intersection of geography, data, and programming, where I use code to make spatial processes more efficient, reusable, and scalable.

I'm fascinated by the Open Source world. It helped me learn programming from the ground up and turn that knowledge into practical skills in Python, SQL, and GIS. Over time, sharing code and ideas became a natural way to contribute back through articles, tutorials, and open projects.
