Magnetic powder bed laser fusion simulation
If laser goes to fast, particules are not melted => There's no fusion
If laser goes to slow, we can observe matter projection => There will be holes in the component
We can also try to predict the shape of the component.
Thereafter, it can be observed 3 steps :
- Fusion
- Marangoni effect (particules are evicted from the center) https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Marangoni_effect
- Recoil effect (particules are attracted by the center) https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Recoil_(fluid_behavior)
Notice : At the end, we achieve to create a single part component which could be conductor ! Well done 😉
