The Render Update
- Rendering now outputs finished mp4s. No more messing around with video and audio files or following complicated instructions from the README.
- Sped up the rendering process by nearly 5x. The encoder was changed, giving higher quality for the same bitrate and fixing crashes from high settings.
- Added an option to enable or disable recording sound effects in renders. (Recording only the song without sound effects is the default, as it is much faster.)
- Added settings for bloom and anti-aliasing in renders, meaning AnyTweaks no longer affects the render output at all.
- Fixed an issue where debris would not correctly follow the "Reduce Debris" setting in renders.
- Changed the way the audio is muted, meaning that rendering audio is muted now, and environment spectrograms move in the video output.
- Added prevention for the screen turning off during renders. (Passthrough may still cause issues.)
- Replaced the "Disable Camera" option with an on-screen only counter displaying the current time in the song.
- Fixed an issue where the "Correct Camera" option did not work properly on 360 degree levels.
- Improved the stability of rendering multiple levels in succession using the render queue.
- Added a visible and draggable representation of the third person camera position in the pause menu.
- Fixed rendering issues related to replays downloaded from BeatLeader.
- Changed the bitrate option to a slider and lowered its maximum. (Using overly high bitrates will only waste space on your computer.)
- Fixed a crash on startup.
For advanced users:
- Added fields in the configuration file that can be modified to override the render resolution width and height.
