The new method (for responsiveness when toggling preview layout) use activity backstacking. which might be performance heavy especially memory heavy... if you move between old UI & new UI to much in one app session (aka-without-quit-app-in-between)...
But I am not current concern of it. as no one is going to switch between old UI & new UI, that fast in one session.. they might might switch reasonable at max 4 times.. which will be OK i guess only 4 activity are okay... i guess.
