👨‍💻 About Me

Hi! I’m Patrick Alvarez — a passionate, people-first software engineer currently working at Mews on the Fintech team, crafting modern financial tools for the hospitality industry.

  • 🧠 Frontend is my playground: I build sleek, scalable interfaces with React, Next.js, TypeScript, and Tailwind.
  • 📱 I also build mobile apps using React Native + Expo, bringing ideas to life across iOS, Android, and web.
  • 🤖 I’m obsessed with AI tools like Cursor, Windsurf, and anything that gives me “superpowers” — because 10x productivity is just the beginning.
  • 🌍 I'm half Irish, half Spanish, fluent in English and Spanish, and completely fluent in talking to my dog and cat like they're people.
