This should be updated to not have projects considered "dead" simply because they had no work done (Some projects are that simple that they don't require updates)

I was thinking it's super rare to run into a project that was not updated for 3 years but is still active. Just because Python makes changes and causes projects to rot. What's the harm in calling projects dead?

It implies that the dev doesn't care and has abandoned the project.
Granted, for some projects does it count (i.e. MkDocs Material), but for some projects is there simply no need to update a project as it's just that simple.
