Is there a specific issue this fixes? 7zz is used instead of 7zzs, as most Linux package managers install 7zzs. There is one specific extractor, for APFS file systems, that does use 7zzs; that's because most package managers have an older version of the 7zip tool that does not support APFS, so until they are generally updated, you can install this static version of 7zipfrom their website and install it alongside 7zz`.
