AetherCode is a sleek, visually stunning web interface with an integrated Flask backend for AI code reviews. The application features a modern UI with a dark theme, animated background, responsive layout, and a powerful CodeMirror editor for syntax highlighting and code formatting.

Getting Started

Frontend

  1. Clone this repository
  2. Open index.html in your browser or use a simple HTTP server:
    python -m http.server 8000
    
  3. Access the application at http://localhost:8000

Backend

  1. Navigate to the backend directory:
    cd backend
    
  2. Install the required Python packages:
    pip install -r requirements.txt
    
  3. Set up your OpenAI API key in the .env file:
    OPENAI_API_KEY=your_api_key_here
    
  4. Start the Flask server:
    python app.py
    
  5. The backend will be available at http://localhost:5000

  • POST /api/analyze: Analyze code and provide feedback
  • POST /api/chat: Process chat messages with AI
  • POST /api/upload: Handle single file uploads
  • POST /api/project: Handle multiple file/project uploads
